A fundraiser for The ARTS Project that will produce Theatre, Art and Music in 24 hours!
The ARTS Project is a non-profit art gallery, theatre and studio space for artists, bringing arts and culture to the downtown core by providing the space and the means for artists to create and display their work.

On Friday, March 30, 2012 The ARTS Project, 203 Dundas St. in downtown London will host an array of London talent that will produce Theatre, Visual Art and Music from scratch based on a theme in 24 hours.

On Friday at 7pm the doors will open for a launch party where the various artists will be introduced to the public and then receive their assignment. James Reaney from the London Free Press will be announcing the topic to launch the creative process.
Four theatre groups will be created through a live lottery matching playwrights, directors and 16 of London’s most talented actors as we enjoy a beverage and watch the creativity unfold. Our four selected London authors will then have until 8am the next morning to write four scripts based on the theme. The following morning at 8am the scripts will be handed to four directors who will then begin to rehearse with their team of actors.
Then at 7:30pm on the 31st each of the plays will be performed at The Wolf Performance Hall. Tickets to the show are $25 available at the door or in advance at The ARTS Project.
While the authors are writing their scripts some of London’s most talented visual artists will begin an overnight marathon creating artwork based on the same theme onsite at The ARTS Project.

During this time The ARTS Project will be open to the public overnight showing movies courtesy of SHOCK STOCK. We are encouraging people to visit the gallery during this time and see art creation first hand. These works of art will then be put up for silent auction at 4pm on the 31st.

For the first time, Musicians also will be writing original music based on the theme. They will have 24 hours to write, compose and rehearse. The completed pieces will be performed at The ARTS Project after the plays conclude around 9:30pm on the 31st
