For lost, or abandond kitties in LondonTown.
The HAwthorne Hospice For Misplaced Cats is open again. :)
First one of the season came around about 6 days ago.
Our Local variety Store owner saw him, and started leaving food and water out for the starving guy. (But unfortunaetly he left it IN the cans. :S He meant well.)
I tripped over him a day later, on my way to work and FREAKED.. He's a twin to my cat Puck (see icon) So I thought Puck had gotten out.. but the stray boy evaded me. I raced home and did a "cat count" to make sure it was NOT Puck! ( Work is SO not understanding when your late because of things like this! LOL)
Two more days pass, and Ali (the store owner) and I are convinced he`s not an Indooor/ outdoor cat like so many in our neighbourhood are.
I convince my husband to set up the "isolation room" a.k.a. the bathroom, and we set out to catch him that night.. but he is a no-show. ( cue worry!)
Friday morning as I'm returning home from work, he BOLTS across our busy street ( in rush hour traffic) to race up to me to get the lovin's he missed the night before.
Needless to say I scooped him up and before you could say "catnap" he was in my house!,
His coat is too fine for him to be a stray for too very long, his teeth are PERFECT, and he lets me trim his toenails. SOMEONE had been taking VERY good care of this baby, so I'm thinking it's not a "dump" but an escapee.. at least I hope so. i can't see someone taking that good of care of a kitten and then tossing him. I'm guessing that he's about 9 or 10 months old.
We're calling him "Robyn" because the OTHER name for the Fairy god of mischief "Puck", was "Robyin Goodfellow", and he's a twin of my Puck. :D
Enough Babble.. here's Pics of the foundling!

He's been doing a LOT of sleeping since we've caught him..

Too Tired to do more than LOOK at the mousie.
I'm not giving him a bath just yet.. I'm letting him get used to US first. ;) an a few more days I'll bath him. The cuts on his nose are from the food tins. :S

Such a handsome boy!

Don't know if we will or not.
We're at our cities' "legal limit", but we may wind up doing a "long term foster'.. but I will be looking for a home for him as well. :)
