After Deadline "Sketchuary"

yes, thanks to the In-laws drama-rama over my artwork, I failed out of the OFFICIAL "Sketchuary".
It's HARD to get up the gumption to do  a painting a day when your very artistic reputation is under attack. :S

BUT I'm doing an UN-official Sketchuary, and I just realized that I haven't POSTED the images here yet! o_O

So here's SOME of them.. I need a sunny day to photograph the darker paintings.. or a better tripod, and a remote control so I don't get multi-images/blurred images from the slow shutter sped. :(

This is why I'm afraid to stop in the middle of a painting..
I got to this point and stopped..
NOW I'm afraid to go back to it.. for fear I'll "completely Mess it up". :P
But I *AM* going to finish it today! :P

Your stuff is brilliant. And I do actually understand artwork even if I can't do it myself. My paternal grandparents were both artists (as was my step-grandfather), so I grew up with them painting and with being taken to museums by my dad. There is something so very charming and touching about your work. There is a clarity and simplicity of lines to it and something else that is harder to articulate. I'm so sorry for all the drama that you've experienced recently, but Shadow and I are looking forward to the finished work.
