I don't know, the article seemed pretty objective. It made no mention of whether his 'alternative lifestyle' was BAD or not, save the part about being interested in younger women. No places were named, no other names were given. It's probably the best thing you could find coming from a mainstream news source.

recently I sent messages to vampirefreaks and myspace to tell them that he was using underage photos of V without her consent, they basically brushed us off. luckily she was at perversion in these photos, not at the rectum or dissent.now the photos are down, the thing that irks me is GB has used and continues to use photos I took of V when she turned of age but was breaking up with him, he used them on his lame ass profiles, and I had to have them removed more then once.
its funny to hear people unrelated to these events discussing GB, talking about the bathtub pictures of him they flashed on the news.
GB used his poor me act to weasel his way into womens lives, and they to were victimized I think, if he was ever near any of your computers be careful.

i kinda sorta agree with the first comment here--there really wasn't anything tying him into the goth community at large, simply that he was a member of an alternative lifestyles web site claiming to be a "fetish master".

however, i do hope that the conservative backlash over goth/alternative lifestyles blows over quickly. i can't see the police coming down to dissent or the wreck'd and investigating everyone's sexual preferences. so far the london free press hasn't blown it out of proportion (the original "goth/sadistic" comment was a quote from someone else) but i'd hate to see them start investigating the whole community for media sensationalist purposes. that might just provoke a letter to the editor from me or something. [grin]

to be totally honest i think worrying about the whole gord thing hittin the clubs is pointless. the cops dont care about the wreck'd room or dissent. as ultra-conservative as london may be they don't care if there are freaks as long as they stay in their basements.

what i have a problem with is the not so subtle linking between his crime and other crimes just because of similar ways of meeting people. people who plan murders online are not the victims of the internet and i refuse to let someone relieve themselves of responsibility like that. i am sick to death of people not taking any accountability for their actions.

then you get poor sons of bitches who are gettin dragged down with these people just for IN THE PAST being friends with them. guilt by association is ridiculous. i am just spoutin off but i hear everyone laughing and to me this whole situation really isn't that funny.

what really iritated me was that gord used the pictures I took mixed up with his bullshit.
the reason i met V is because he brought 17 yr old her to a bdsm munch, and I wondered, what is this baby doing with this tool?
what really troubles us is how he went from being her sissy bitch to apparent fetish master.
I feel bad for the girl who had the kid with him, she was wise to remove him from being a parent.
what the reporter from the free press should investigate is how gord continued to live free, despite prior convictions.
