Awww. IT was so nice to be back in my school without he thundering herds of cow-orkers. ;D IT looked so lovely and shiney, until we realised the shiney was all the broken entryway windows.  Eight feet by 21 feet sheets of glass scattered EVERYWHERE. *eyeroll* Yeah it's the safty crap. Therefore it breaks into leetle ettty bitty pieces insetad of huge gillotine like shards. :D

Nothing else was destroyed, and the alarm co was there ( surprisingly) not twenty minutes after it happened. Which was at 3 am SUNDAY night. *shakes head* did they CALL us to have us come in? nooo. They decided it was better to charge DOUBLE TIME to sit and watch the three different sides of teh school with THREE DIFFERENT cars parked in front. Idiots. There are THREE custodians who live less than TEN MINUTES AWAY, know where the plywood is to cover the holes AND could have gotten it cleaned up in under 3 hours. Those custodians ARE on the "call in case of emergency" list, but I guess leaving the entryways OPEN for a whole day was not important enough to be considered an "emergency".  WHEEEee. YOU try getting barn swallows out of a three story stairwell. ; )

Heh the rest of the school is still polished and shiney. We'll have to see what tonight brings. :P

Edit: I forgot to mention for those who're looking for me, that it's back to the old "transfer Downtown at 10pm, @ Dundas and Richmond, work until 7am and transfer at 7:30 @Richmond and King. Sun to Thurs." For all the "brave" ones Hugs and Kisses! ; )
