Sep. 5th, 2004 11:18 pmSoo much to update.. I forgot to finishe about the weekend Kevin and I spent with the family.. and just last week we were out in Saskatoon Saskatchewan getting Kevin's brother married off.. ;) No; sorry Dad; Kevin and I *DIDN'T* pay the justice of the peace and sign the papers behind Ian and Jenny.. Mom threatened me, and so did Kevin's mom Fran. They both said that we could "go off and elope if we wanted to. But if we did we'd have to 'renew our vows' infront of everyone in fancy gear and we'd have the party anyaways!" LOL. sorry dad.. I'm only gonna do this ONCE in my life.. and I'm *NOT* doing it "for show" a second time. :) LOL
Anyways long and short of the family reunion was that my cousin daina's kids and my nephew abducted "UNCLE KEN" (ROFLMAO) and spent the whole day dragin him around to do various things.. like play baseball, build sand castles, jump on a trampoline, and eat dinner with them! lol Poor Kevin! He doesn't get to sit at the "adult table" because the kids won't let him! :D Anyways My other relatives told me that "If i screw *this* one up..they'll disown me and adopt him! LOL! Even funnier is that that's exactally what Kevin's family told HIM! teehee!
Jenny, the new Mrs. Hawthorne even managed to get me into a DRESS! and MAKEUP..and dragged me kicking and screaming to a HAIRSALON! LOL all for her wedding.. only to have it rain.. and most of my hairdo came out! :( I'l post the pics on the webpage and post the link later. :D The dress I'm wearing was made by Fran..so it fit me like a dream, and actaully made me lok good! >_< So I know my wedding dress is in good hands! LOL
Kevin and I even piced out the date..sort of. Depending on finaces and such we're either going to do the deed Oct.31st 2005 or 2006. Fall wedding with a Masque Ball for a reception! YUM! I really wanted a Costume party for the reception, but some members of the family said that they won't sho up if they have to wear a costume.. soo we're gonna make the masks for the "wedding momento" you know the little gifty thingy you give the guests.. ;) and I have to get my dad to make the wine. :) Wedding invatations will be heading out probably in feb. or March... LOL
EEEEEeeeeee! and the funny thing is that Kevin and I are planning this.. but he still hasn't actualy officially *asked* me yet! .. But he's the one who picked the date! ;) must be the wedding planning he went thru with his brother! :D
