"Horse Week" for Sketchuary!

been feeling down due to things outlined in the "friends only" post. :I
Anywhoooo..

to_feel_strong 's Pacey being Feisty!
And here's me comparing the pose in the painting to the photo..
and Teake the Friesian Stallion ofhoodsey 's.
( At least I *think* he's a stallion.. I could be wrong!) LOL
I put him in a spring meadow for two reasons..
I SUCK at doing extensive "weathered wood" architecture and backgrounds, and I 'm TIRED of SNOW! :P
I wanted to make Teake iridescent in this one,(like a starling's wing), and I did pretty well..
BUT I couldn't wait for the paint to dry past it's shiny stage. :(
Sooo I'll have a better photograph of this one, the next SUNNY day we have! LOL
There are a couple more of Teake, but they're waiting for a nice day so I can take the pics without the "shinys". :I
